The Scene

Don Hill's nondescript brick-wall exterior conceals a glitzy underground homo-rock scene. The space would be an old blue-collar tavern if pretty hunks in their undies weren't bumping and grinding on the room-length bar. Open to patrons of all sexual persuasions, the bar features live rock from up-and-coming bands as well as kitsch-themed dance parties.

The Draw

Though Sherry Vine and Misstress Formika's ever-popular Friday Squeezebox party has said farewell, other rock, glam and Brit-pop nights are still banging. Come see cult DJs spin punk or New Wave oldies from the elevated sound booth, while big-breasted dominatrix leatherettes wrap themselves around a pole up front and video jocks project hardcore gay porn on the seedy back walls. Don't worry, it's all in good fun.
