The Scene

An old-school club hangout: The decor basically consists of black paint and strobe lights, while the dress code is comfy shoes and loose clothing--you come here to dance, not to show off your gear. The crowded first level--packed mostly with gay men of color--offers a hot hip-hop soundtrack; upstairs, the larger house room favors a mix of new and Chicago classics and a stage which features the occasional stripper.

Fringe Benefits

Off to one side there's a large, better-lit room with a bar, tables and a stand featuring a dazzling array of hot dogs, fried chicken, sandwiches, meat patties and other greasy but tasty snacks.

Hours

The action at the Warehouse begins at 11pm, but doesn't really get going until 2am. The party generally winds down sometime in the wee hours.
