The Scene

Live rock bands perform four nights a week at this atypical Irish pub that holds raucous karaoke bashes every Tuesday night. Boasting a separate restaurant, a mammoth projection TV screen perpetually tuned to sports and a number of scattered fish tanks holding some angry-looking denizens of the deep, O'Flanagans is a somewhat dark but appealing place to sample standard Irish fare.

The Draw

With ample room to dance on the venue's firm hardwood floors, and a plethora of tall, round, linen-draped tables to lay claim to for an evening of harmless pub fun, rabid sports fans and those who happily don't foam at the mouth gather together at this warm East Side tavern to bond with kinfolk. You won't make many new friends here--the keep-to-your-own-table quotient is pretty high--but feel free to bring the ones you've already got.
