 Great Hotel and Location

The Drake Hotel made a stay in New York perfect. Nice size rooms, great location near to the 5th Avene and Madison shops and great for Central Park. Subway also just two blocks away. Staff very helpful. Would recommend the Drake to anyone. Only would avoid the breakfast at just under $68 for two.

We were extremely pleased with the Swissotel-The Drake. The standard rooms are very large and well appointed. I liked the decor and the comfortable king bed with down pillows. They provided a large walkin closet to hang your clothes and put your luggage. The bathrooms are beautiful with plenty of room and shelving to keep your cosmetics.The staff was very pleasant, helpful , and friendly. I tend to be very picky about hotels but, could not find one complaint with this one and we stayed six nights. I highly recommend it!

A great hotel. We got a rate of $215 which included Buffet breakfast and late check out not to mention a DOUBLE upgrade. THe room was big and clean. Fully stocked mini bar was great although a bit pricey. The concierge was very helpful and made us several reservations at "hard to get in" restaurants. The location is great very close to the park and good shopping. SoHo is only a $10 cab ride. Very central.
