Hotel Pennsylvania hotel description>>

It had its period

There was menstruation in the toilet bowl when we got there. I'd rather go on a death march than be forced to step in the lobby. If there was someone threatening to kill me if I didn't stay there, suicide would be my Disney World. It was supposed to be my boyfriend and my first romantic getaway. We broke up because Hotel Pennsylvania.

Old I can handle, but this place was filthy. The room had dirt and grime on the walls, on the floor (I can't imagine when it was last vacuumed), on the phone, on the dresser... Oddly, the bathroom was newly remodeled and quite clean - it was the only place I felt safe taking off my shoes. And no, I'm not the stereotypical American tourist - I've stayed in many places in many countries - I don't expect everything to be new - or necessisarily working for that matter, but clean is another thing. The bed was also sagged terribly. And this place was not that cheap. To top it off, some past guest had left a shirt in the closet and it was still hanging there. I only wonder for how long...

i loved it

After watching many films on new york,I thought the hotel would be very grubby and dirty with some women hanging around the lobby offering sex for sale. That was just in the movies.Based on the price that i paid, all I wanted was a base to start my sight seeing every morning and a place to rest my tired feet.Fantastic lobby, good doorman, nice lifts, warm comfy room with on suite bathroom, what more could you ask for.Up stairs they record the sally show and they give you free coffee and food when you go to watch the recording and you end up on the screen, cool. Everything I wanted was around the hotel,Empire state building,Macys,mc donalds, madison square gardens and jacks dept store (must visit) and penn station right under the hotel. I have recommended this hotel to my friends and after thier stay, they have done the same.If you want to be pampered go else where,if you want value for money stay here.
