Loved the 'MIllenium'

The Millenium Hotel is beautiful, especially @ a rate $149 a night (when I stayed). The customer service was excellent, and the bed felt "just like home". The 42' plasma TV, cosmopolitan decor, and huge window were only some of the perks the hotel had to offer. The only thing that I can really complain about is parking. I drove to NY on this occassion, as I always do, and the hotels parking accomadations were terrible. I was afraid I would come outside the next morning and the car would be towed away. Oh, and the "World Trade Center Whole" can be a little much. If your still traumatized, don't stay here, but if not, go and sleep in one of the most comfortable rooms in NYC.
Convenient and comfortable

More convenient than the Holiday Inn Wall St, and nicer rooms but small (avoid the rooms just before the corner suites). Plasma screens beg for DVD players (they are not available from the hotel), but business travelers can connect their laptops to the screen with a Male-Male VGA cable for computing or movie watching. Unfortunately, the staff can't help you there.
Best mother daughter hotel

Stayed weekend Oct. 17-19 and loved the Hilton! Subway directly in front of hotel to go uptown westside and 1 block away subway takes you anywhere. There's always cabs and Jerry the doorman to help you with anything. Century 21 discount department store is great! My daughter purchased Juicy shirts for $24.00 and Miss Sixty jeans for $50! The room is incredible! Large, clean, comfortable and huge bathroom counter so that we could put on our make-up at the same time. Unheard of in most New York hotels. Breakfast was included in our rate but it's not so good unless all you want is a bagel but it gets very crowded so Sunday morning we went next door to the Stage Deli and had a great cheap breakfast. Another secret is that if you want great knock off designer bags you need not go into Chinatown- they sell them right in front of the hotel. Have fun.....
