Want to go back

Four us went to NY and at first had some problems getting our room on time, but they were very accomodating by sending us to the 44th floor lounge where they treated us with free drinks. When we got our room it was not what we had requested so we ended up with two rooms for the price of one! plus at $250 dollar room service credit. All hotels should be so accomodating. Because of this we will all stay there again.
It was OKAY!!

We got a room at the Hilton on Priceline for $100/night. It's a great location and it really was a great price for what it was. HOWEVER - they definitely put rooms aside for their Priceline customers. We stayed in a tiny room next to an electrical closet. It was a little sad to walk by the normal rooms while they were being cleaned and see how much bigger they were. The bathroom was fine - the room itself was okay - water stains on the ceiling and such. I think it was worth it - you don't spend much time in the hotel in New York anyway and the location was wonderful. We did get stuck in one of their elevators - which was very scary. The voice over the elevator speaker was not very calming either. One of the cleaning staff left a dirty orange glove in our room - kind of gross. All in all - I wouldn't change a thing. We were there for seven days, so price was a major concern for us. It was comfortable enough for that amount of time.
There are much better hotels that cost less in NYC

Entering this Hotel gives you the feeling of entering a huge central train station. Wanna go out? You sometimes wait for the elevator to get to your floor 10 minutes. When it arrives its almost always very full. There is a huge difference between rooms. Try to get the "Hilton club" floors. I payed 220$. doesn't worth it.
