 The Great Algonquin...Like no other

Fantastic experience!! The service was excellent and Matilda - cat, was absolutey gorgeous!!! I just want to share with everyone that everything was perfect. My partner and I also attended Oak Room for a fabulous show - Stacie Kent was just awesome. I will definitley come back to stay at The Algonquin - you just can not find better services here than the brand name hotels. I can't wait until I go back to NYC soon!!!

Have just spent 4 nights here with my husband and 9yr old son. We have had a fantastic time, the staff could not have been more helpful and welcoming. We loved the decadence of the lobby (including the cat!) and the suite we had was small but immaculate. Great location for all the sights. The hotel was the icing on the cake for our first trip to New York

Read some reviews before booking. Pluses: Atmospheric and pleasant staffminuses: tiny room, carpest must be original (circa 1910) and stained and dirty Noisy aircon Fst Internet access didn't work, took an hour to get a power supply for the 'router' in the room (someone must have accidntaly put the original one in their bag)
